About

Mission

WoW Utah is a non-profit charity dedicated to empowering women to achieve lifelong success after overcoming abuse, addiction, alcoholism, catastrophic illness, disability, or economic hardship. WoW participants receive one-on-one mentoring and support needed to provide life skills and tools creating accountability and confidence, ensuring lasting success through their journey. We also offer our graduates the opportunity to give back to the community by mentoring and serving others who are walking in the shoes they once walked in.

Program Process

Phase I. Learn your worth
Phase I of our program is an eleven month, in-person monthly worthshop that facilitate methods, tools, and engagement to develop the skills needed build a healthy life and life choices for the participant (mentee). This phase pairs a mentor with a mentee, providing a long-term partnership for developing and meeting goals, creating accountability, and ultimately leading to transformation. At the end of this phase, the mentee will have the confidence and capabilities needed for positive growth.

Phase II. Managing Accountability Transformation (M.A.T.)
Phase II of our program provides monthly meetings, allowing continuation of
accountability through personal growth and skills learned in phase I. This program will
work with the graduating mentees to provide them with the on-going support of their
peers and friends, and introduce the roles and responsibilities needed to support other
members within the program as a future mentor or volunteer.

Phase III. Making an impact
Upon advancement through the M.A.T program, participants have the skills, knowledge,
and investment to move forward within the WoW organization as a mentor or
organization volunteer, allowing them to give back to others based on their unique
experience and personal journey.
